The Evolution of Mankind v2.0: "A New Generation of Cyborgs"

Following is a little article I wrote up back in 2018 for my college magazine. I was 16/17 and stupid, today kids are busy raising millions for startup but I was just figuring out coding, ego-fighting with friends and trying to get a girl out of pure FOMO and status back in college.
So yeah this blog has a lot of grammar mistakes, but I intend to keep it as is because it would be fun to read this later and hey in todays world where everything is heavily moderated using AI tools, its good to have some raw unedited content too. hehe.
The History
A small part of human evolution goes like this Australopithecus > Homo Habilis > Homo Erectus > Homo Heidelbergensis > Homo Sapiens > Cyborgs > Robots. Man started out having really no knowledge of living, and then learned from its surroundings. Slowly started out being the smartest animal on the earth.
A small thought
People connected to the internet, talking in different languages, really quick thinking, extra knowledge, can send emails and call friends using their electronic brains. Just wonderful!
The Cyborgs and Robots
This word Cyborg comes from two words called Organisms and Cybernetics. Human race with embedded technologies in their bodies are called cyborgs. They are really an awesome thing to come, one or the other day even we would be in the same place having extra senses. There are some existing cyborgs on the earth paving the way for the future. One of them is Cyborg Neil Harbison who has got a antenna plugged in his brain and is connected to the internet. There many like him. This is a reality now.
Soon we will be able to do some extraordinary actions. Many people who got inspired from the sci-fi movies had their body parts changed with electronic parts.
While some countries banned these morphing people. Cause these people with their extra abilities could do a lot of harm to others. Like they could be hacking into public devices like cameras, look through walls and even damage every device that is connected to the internet.
What if I had my brain connected to the internet service, I could have already scored full marks in every surprise test. It’s awesome right! Maybe in coming future schools and colleges will have to place network blockers everywhere. That’s funny.
A man with an artificial robotic leg. Even he is a Cyborg. The term cyborg started around some years back. Even during 20th century some scientists and people used this futuristic term. There are many movies showing human and animal cyborgs, even Tony Starks a.k.a. Iron Man from the movie Iron, he had a whole Arc Reactor a super powerful power source implanted in his body.
Then comes the Robots. If you know the movie Chappi then you would be also familiar with the term consciousness backup. The guys in the movie created a whole backup of their brain in a clustered Play Station (seriously!). That’s really cool but practically impossible to store ever growing complexity of the human brain in a multiple clustered play station. In fact, it will need a lot of computing power and memory to store a whole consciousness backup.
Now just think if at the age of 90s we could just create a backup of the brain with consciousness and just let our physical body die out. And just resurrect our thoughts with having our brain backup placed into a robot. Just fantastic! We will never be dying very soon if such a thing could be done. Then the population would be overgrowing.
There has been a lot of research going on to simulate a human brain and also to transfer consciousness from organisms to computers. Some scientists were successful in creating an earthworm brain with consciousness. They also taught it to park a simulated car. Mind Blowing! Epic! And they are still programming many other small brains.
Sometime in the future we could be seeing a place with no flesh and bones organisms. Literally no living beings. Only bots, robotic pets, robotic humans and robotic animals. That’s really bad! Let’s see what’s going to really happen?
